Eight TikTok creators, including the Love & Pebble beauty brand owner, are suing against the law that could ban TikTok in the U.S.

In April, the U.S. government passed a law that requires Chinese parent company, ByteDance to sell the platform’s U.S. operations in order for TikTok to be available in the U.S.

Paul Tran, owner of Love & Pebble skincare company, is among the plaintiffs arguing that the proposed law violates the First Amendment right to free speech.

About Love & Pebble

Love & Pebble debuted in 2021 and uses TikTok to promote and sell products. According to reports, the company’s products have repeatedly sold out due to its success on the platform and on the TikTok Shop.

The brand specializes in frozen skincare products called ‘beauty pops’ that customers make themselves.

Users combine the provided mask powders and water in a globe-shaped mold that is then placed in the freezer. Once frozen, users rub the mask on their face, which ‘massages and rubs into the contours of your face for even and complete coverage.’

The mask mold trays, mixing spatula, and beauty pop sticks are made from reusable silicone. Beauty pops also come in recyclable packaging.
